I think it depends on the supporter, I know some passionate supporters out there that just about know where every team in their club has come in the last 50 years. I personally take a great interest in junior and reserves results as they all help make a club great.
I know there was a lot of Bays fans there last year on GF day and that game was very important to them.
I can also understand the more casual less passionate fans who just follow the league would probably be a majority.
Each to their own though and us all being different keeps things interesting! :D

I can see where you're coming from Wedgie. I guess its the country club that i grew up with that i take a more holistic approach with as far as keeping an interest in how the minor grades go. But i still think that very few SANFL supporters would rate a Reserves premiership anywhere remotely close to a League flag.

I don't think anyone (except for a player) would even contemplate rating a Reserves premiership close to a league flag mate.

I agree, but i'd never discuss the 2 in the one paragrah like that, as though the Reserves premiership added weight to the argument. I know you said it in gest, but after 73, 85 and 86 (versus 87 and a "minor" Reserves flag), i know which club has who has their bitch :P

Agreed Adelaide Hawk I do concur the Eagles and North will finish top 2. In that order too and that will be confirmed next week when the Eags beat North in a tight one. My Prediction is Eagles, North, Central, Glenelg, Port. The GF will be Eagles v North. Geeeez could this finally be the Eags year.

Ah a day is a long time in football.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The bays are no where near certain of making finals yet. They can lose their last 3 matches easily and even lose 2moro.
Never give a sucker an even break

Nor ban a user for an acceptable topic of discussion.

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

One can only hope hey Dasher.....

100% agree we can easily lose our last four games, in the same way Port can lose their last five, and Norwood and South can lose all bar one.

As I said all year the teams that win will be the teams that turn up on the day with the right attitude...

ATM we are turning up to games with the right attitude that could all change tomorrow if our Boys turn up thinking they are going to win this as we did on June 3.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
