Any truth to the rumour that you will applying for the job Coorong under the name Wayne Weiderman?

Perhaps CD can confirm what John said in his radio interview on 5rph prior to the south adelaide game .

Relevant to this discussion (probably) Dwayne Russell tonight on 3AW whilst not condemning Bomber Thompson, suggested Geelong look further afield at who else is available, cionduct extensive interviews and then appoint the one with the most potential. If this happens to be Bomber so be it. Well it does happen in the public service and private enterprise where you have to convince those at the top YOU are the man for the job.

In Bombers case may be disruptive, but imagine the confidence if he won the position against a field.

Good or bad I am not going to judge, however would be personally insulted if it happened to me and would walk.

Weed applied for a coaching role with the Eagles a few years ago didn't he? Maybe when Fuller was appointed? I think all this talk on a new coach is a non-issue at the moment. Only Sturt would be looking at this stage.

What will happen if you crash and burn in the finals/grand final again this year? Not only will you be out of pocket, but will Fuller stay?

Ron Fuller's like a bad smell he just won't go away. I'm not a huge fuller fan but with the exception of our grand final records any coach in the sanfl would have to be envious of what he's done.

I concur with goraw. He's done a fairly good considering we've faced Central in the big one and have not missed the finals since about 1998.
