As a long suffering supporter of this proud old club all I can say is it will take a fair bit for me to be upset tonight. This is a healthy stride forward for a club that has struggled for eons. We now have to put ourselves in the position to play finals every year.It was great to see so many southees at the game today, I think we even outnumbered the opposition.
Ellis was sensational today , 8 goals speaks for itself. Davey was inspirational particularly in the 3rd Quarter- he wont be playing for us next year- chocko and co were keeping a keen eye on him again today. Scooter Mcglone and boofa Wright were great also.
Next week it looks like we'll be playing Port, and I think they will provide strong opposition despite the fact that we beat them by 15 goals last time.

Glad I was there to see the Boys have a go for a half, the less said about the 2nd half the better.
South to desperate and too polished in the "premiership" quarter when the game was there to be won.
Next year we have to work with the kids and develop again for a spot on the fianls, and we need to keep Mitch and Mouse.
Glad Sunny played well he is a key for our future development.
Memo to Port Power and the Crows, you need to look at trades to get, Phil Raymond, Andrew Mackie, Jordan McMahon, Daniel Bell, Brad Ottens (??), Ryan Gamble, Josh Whilloghby.
Honestly still too numb from losing to really comprehend what this loss means.......

I was standing next to him, I was just about to say "You're Tassie Medallist, aren't you?", but you left.

How many times this year did Glenelg beat a team who were above them on the ladder at the time of the game? I think South are the more dangerous team and will have the other sides in the 5 looking over their shoulder. An excellent year for Glenelg. They performed above expectations for the majority of the year, but just weren't good enough against the good sides.A shocking kick by their star recruit across goals in the dying minutes against North has ultimately cost them a spot in the finals
HE AINT NO STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he has had many brain failures but that was his worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we beat centrals, eagles, port, possibly norwood when they were above us.
