[/quote]hey peanut before you go saying who gives a stuff about the slowdown stop and think where the money goes that they raise. i my friend have first hand experience of having a 11 month old having cancer and some of you peanuts should stop and think where the money goes.
sorry about the rant just jacks me off
It's alright champ, no-one has questioned where the money goes it's a great cause. The Problem is the Larger Football public ( a fair percentage of AFL supporters) go to the slowdown and could not even tell you who's playing this week.
It could be a fair argument that Centrals and The Eagles have had a monopoly on the competion but if you are any sort of football fan you would throw a couple of $'s at Bones and Freddie for their foundation, then pull yourself out of your AFL fed stupor and go and watch some real footy.
The AFL has distanced itself from true football fans with it's over the top hype and physical sterility, its good to go to the SANFL and See blokes like the Gowans Boys, Ciccolella and Dean Howard knock a few boys around. And for the Price that the SANFL charge you need only spend 1/2 hour trolley hopping in supermarket carparks to get in.
