A few years ago we carried the ressies banner out at footy park and because the guy who had the ropes was about 2 minutes behind us, he wasn't allowed on the oval.

Ever put up a banner without any ropes?????
It's not easy, I can tell you!!

I know it's not easy, but it can be done. But no team would want to do that without ropes.

I would go one further and say the worst inAus, other security @ sports interstate are much better.
We-slo were @ it again @ Hindmarsh on monday, the security guard could really be up on assault arges for what he did to the bloke involved.
the police said "we don't normally do this, but we can tell the security guard over reacted and we will let you go without charge".

How about this for vintage Weslo.

Sport fans who've been to Football Park will know about the mystical yellow line that the bearer of beer shall not cross. Little did I know there's one in a rather peculiar location at Hindmarsh Stadium. But anyway, beer in hand I walked along to peer around a group of people ,as I thoght I noticed someone I know. Johnny Weslo comes up to me and tells me to get back over the line. I hadn't even realised there was one, so I sort of laughed and went to plod back in to the sacred zone. However Johnny Weslo wasn't happy with this challenge to his authority, and gruffly suggested to me that if I didn't like it he would kick me out of the ground.

Maybe this sounds sort of understandable up until this point, if not for one fact.

I was standing about 10m outside the ground in Manton Street.
