May be touch and go for the Legs unless they get the pokies up and running soon. If it wasnt for the old money the club can still muster (Coopers, Wolf Blass, Fairmont Homes etc) I'd be even more pessimistic.

Too bad we all dont get $500K payouts from the state government for doing Sweet FA.

If topsywaldron wants to carry on about how he's team finished higher well let him however it's pretty embarrasing that they finish higher and still cant make a profit.

Mmmm ok  Somehow I would have thought it more embarressing to have an obscenely higher amount of $$, plenty of which went into the playing list yet you were worse than us lol??

Why not try the $2 appeal, it goes a long way.
New pub & plenty of recruits down Alberton.
Would love to know where the money did come from.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Yes but the salary cap remains the same. Finishing higher would have thought more people and sponsors got on board.
However I do realise that it is a problem developed over numerous years.
Yes I do realise like we havn't played finals over a decade, but then again I do realise we are shit.
Just interesting to note that other clubs have been as shit as us and its god to see them suffer.

It's been pretty well documented that our sponsorship has in fact risen very significantly within the past few weeks (Coopers, Fairmont Homes) ... I realise the pasting/taunting you guys must have taken over the years, but if ur looking for understanding wishing a club out of existence prob ain't gonna get it for ya!!

No, this is not a great figure but, as a few have said, NAFC is a good example of how the doom and gloom can turn around with hard work. While I have no doubt some tough questions will be asked at the AGM tomorrow night - and I will be heading along with interest - I am confident the club can reverse its fortunes over time. Maybe a couple of new faces on the board will help freshen things, and we move forward to restoring our place as a league power on and off the field once again.
