Well surely he's barking up the wrong slippery dip at Unley

Why not get Matty Cooper back as captain-coach, he's obviously proved he knows how to win anywhere! Return in a blaze of glory to repent his alleged sins!

cant believe Sturt would think they need a full time coach. What does he do during the day when players are all at work? Heard a whisper that previous reserves premiership coach at Sturt and Eagles Shaun Jackson has been approached. Apparently just missed out last time and has an impressive record. Maybe Sturt need to be more proactive but cant see Rob Pyman as a good fit. Obvious there are concerns re Atkinson or he would have been appointed by now.

Without sounding rude, I honestly can't believe Sturt can afford a full time coach especially for what Robert Pyman would be asking and perhaps already getting down at Noarlunga.
Maybe Pyman's just trying to use it as a bargaining chip to get more at South?

The Brodie issue is like reading about Paul Keating losing the 1996 Federal Election. It's history and please leave it at that.

I must admit Im bored of it and even though Ive been guilty of raising this issue and others such as I list underneath (and probably will still bring up in the future at games after having a few ales) I think its time supporters of other clubs come up with new comments.

Eagles: only winning because you're two clubs.
Centrals: all fans are feral
Sturt: the Squizzy and Brodie affairs

etc, etc, etc.

Boring, time to come up with something new or a bit smarter.

Brodie erred once, but is a nice guy, even the players involved with the original issue are over it and have forgiven him.
Let's move on.

Hasn't Cressy had a big fall from Grace, 2 mths ago he was touted as a certainty to coach at AFL level, then the sexual assault scandal, te question needs to be asked how much damage has this done to his AFL coaching prospects

In all fairness it's probly right to add the old arguement about Port Adelaide's history SANFL/AFL to that list of comments too.
