Only sad part of it was telling my son that his favourite player in Matty Campbell had gone, already had to tell him about his 2nd best player a couple of months ago and last year Roey was his favourite before he left to Brisbane. Poor lad's confused, wants to follow Brisbane, Kangaroos and Geelong now!

At westies , our expectations are to get of the bottom and finish 7th would be fantastic, norfs are under more pressure to actually take that next step & norfs are the hunted and not the hunter. Should norfs not make the GF, papa bear and his harem of misfits would have to look a little shakey

Good results for SANFL clubs there - very little impact, except for the Pioneers' Matthew Campbell, and Gavin Hughes from Norwood.

I'm aware of Jacobs and McIntyre - but my impression is they didn't have much of an influence at league level this season, with their best well before them.

Would be disappointing for Heir and Hurley - both handy players. They'll get their shots next season after another year in SANFL company.

Dogwatcher I think you may find that Jacobs best game was against Centrals at Woodville oval when Lindsey was failing against taller jumping ruckman !

Forgive me for having no idea about those players - as getting to see so few SANFL games means they don't often make an impression on me until I see them in action in finals (either when I'm at the game, or on tv when the games are on Sundays and I actually manage to watch them).
