Trail games - is that where you use a horse and cart to get to the game or does it mean you will be behind on the scoreboard?

It means that the other team is behind on the scoreboard.

good point! But lets hope those games at Thebby the supporters can actually see the scoreboard and time clock next year. Mind you the day we got pumped there this year it was probably just as well we couldn't see it!

lol good comeback mightyeagles! I read somewhere that the council has spent $100,000 this year on Thebby to build a scoreboard and fix up change rooms etc. It needed to be done, but still great news 'cos the oval surface and terraces for spectators are the best of all the local grounds imo.

There is a lot of work being done at Thebby Oval it seems. I studied at the college around the corner this year and after the footy season they started to do some maintenance, hopefully this includes a decent scoreboard and dunnys which dont require a passout to use!
