Postby bayman » Mon Nov 26, 2007 10:54 am

as predicted by some smart judges on here that rhys archard will play for north well this is correct he signed on friday

the bigger news is that young minson from norwood who got drafted to port has changed sanfl clubs & will play for north when not in the port team

Don't think Hugh was up to league footy last year, but he has some skill ... His best years are well and truly ahead of him still, so more than likely a good signing for the Roosters

well I have egg on my face. I said North couldnt sign a worse ruckman than Daniel Waklein.

I stand corrected obviously.

Odd decision about Hugh there. I thought with Nicholas moving on and Meeson going back home he'd get plenty of league time with Norwood next year. I havent heard anything about this move from a Power supporters viewpoint. Obviously it would have been talked about, just not sure why this change was made.

The funniest thing here is that I think NORWOOD bought Hugh Minson off of North - they swapped a player for his brother Will to get him to Norwood - well done Redlegs and David Oatey (not!)

Where did Archard finish the season?
Where did South recruit him from?

North obviously have done a good deal to secure Archard under the salary cap.
Hopefully for all concerned it doesnt involve a large couch , Sky channel and a TAB account.

Yeah, you have a point on Wright. Still disappointing though.

Pretty dirty with this Archard signing if it is factual. To leave half way through last season because he was missing home and disillusioned with footy, and to pop up a few months later at a club I loathe is hard to swallow.

Us South supporters are a bitter lot
