Centrals
2 ins but replacing 3 or 4 regular league players
C
Eagles
10 ins and only 4 outs announced but the 4 outs were very good league players.
Looking at names only at this stage you'd say only 2 or 3 regular league players out of the recruits they've announced.
C-
Glenelg
4 ins and 4 outs but the 4 ins look a better class than the players lost.
A-
North
Only 4 ins and 7 outs and all 7 played league footy in 07, most pretty regularly too. Gone for quality over quantity but look a ruckman and a forward short.
C
Norwood
8 ins and 10 outs. Look to have 5 or 6 that will jump straight into league footy losing 5 or 6 that played league footy.
Class of the ins looks better than those leaving though. McGuiness a huge out though not to mention Bailey's ball getting ability.
B
Port
1 quality in (Picket) with a lot out who were regular/good league footy players.
D+
South
Torney's a great in, one of the best recruits one would think but about 5 really good outs.
D
Sturt
3 really good Ins replacing 1 or 2 good outs. Forward line look great.
B
West
Crikey, where do I start? The merry go round of the SANFL but only losing 3 or 4 consistent players and possibly gaining 7, 8 or more league players.
A
Just remember that some clubs have a lot more salary cap to work with than others and some clubs have a lot more gaps to fill as they have less depth than others and obviously there will be more recruits announced (you would think) but IMHO the recruiting table as of 4/1/07 looks this way;
West
Glenelg
Norwood
Sturt
North
Central
Eagles
Port
South
Don't abuse me, just a starting point for a discussion.
