So no other club is going to come back to the field when it is wet or the grounds are heavier? Using that logic you dont think North will make the finals unless it is dry thru the minor round??? Just to refresh my memory - when was the last "mud bath" final of any sort in the SANFL???

Grand Central wrote:This Friday night game should be a corker. One thing I have noticed with North is that while its scores are impressive, opposition clubs have also racked up half decent scores. The back six is North's weak link.
Centrals will stake its game on defence while North will attack at all costs. It should be a good clash of football philosophy and tactics.

My question to the forum,
Q. Can this style of footy win you a flag.
History shows that sides that go on and win the flag, have a verry strong defensive action, for example, Geelong in the 90's had a similar game but failed come finals.

Well put GC it wouldn't be so much of a worry if we could put ourt best side on the park but the big men stocks are starting to thin and the defence looks "leaky". I can see a possible loss coming this week!
