I watched most of the game last night, and all i could do was think "when are they actually going to score a goal!!". And the whole time i'm thinking of ways they can increase the likelihood of goals being scored - less players on the field, bigger goal area, remove the "off side" rule......

not all sports have to have constant scoring, a 0-0 game can still be extremly entertaining, and alot of the time is.

I can see where you're coming from as obviously you've grown up with soccer.
I've only ever really followed aussie rules (of the footy codes) and with the constant scoring its hard to get out of the mentality of high scoring being required. I do admire the skills in soccer, it just becomes frustrating that there isnt much scoring.

I appreciate the skills, but I can't understand why, in a game where scoring is almost impossible, that all a player has to do is fall over in the box and he gets a free shot at goal. Thank God it's over, now we can get on with a REAL sport ... SANFL footy!!!!
