1) The umpiring was atrocious. Have not seen such a poor display of umpiring in all my 52 years of watching senior football. They were biased beyond comprehension.
2) We would have won had we not been riddled with injuries and the loss of senior players.
3) We were playing mighty well until the rain came down at the 11 minute mark of the first quarter when a member in the stand reminded us all of the victory over West Adelaide last week. Had the dry conditions remained I expect we would have run out winners.
4) How can we expect to compete with sides who have established pokies. Just you wait until Bar Zaar gets going and then we'll show you who's boss.
5) The effort for last weeks thrilling victory, combined with a day less break was too much to overcome for our proud players and loyal supporters.

You would want to be hoping the "unthinkable" doesn't somehow choose this week to occur ...

Constance, if and I mean if we happen to pull off an upset, Aerie will be the first poster I will log in and 'say G'Day' to, so to speak!!
Stranger things have happened and we will have gained some confidence after last week's effort.
They are due for a downer too.

God it was bad enough this week with Sturt beating West - look how excited they have all got! If they win this week then watch out as the Sturt bandwagon get's rolled out of the storage shed.
For those Sturt fans who listened to RPH this morning Paul Blandis and Phil Herden give you a "silly" chance of stilll making the finals. God help us if that happens imagine what a trio sturtpeter, jimmy and MST will be on these forums!!!

7) It is very hard to beat 36 players on the field (i.e. 2 clubs)
