my opinion it would have to be chambers as he got beaten by 5 goals, he also played 2 less games & played for a team that only won 3 games

what do you guys think ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Yep Chambers for me.
Bloody good effort considering the team he was playing in, must have got bloody cold at times.

Passador didn't always play at full forward.

I think the Advertiser team of the year will have Chambers at FF and Passador in a Forward Pocket.

Winning the Ken Farmer Medal means you are the best full forward in the comp. It's an open and shut case. Mark Passador.

Weatherley would have just about kicked the most goals
until he got injured.
Chambers by a whisker from Passador.

Not sure how you can say that. Weatherley kicked only 20 goals in 9 matches.

you are kidding me Eagles??? please tell me that you are. For a side that only won 3 games for the entire year to have its full forward within striking distance of the the leading goalkicker into the last game and missed games due to suspension. Passador had the ball given to him on a plate week in week out.

My money is on Joe Pedler for three reasons
1) chambers did not get a sniff whilst "trying" to play on Joe
2) chambers missed matches because of pathetic discipline whilst being bathed by joe
3) Joe managed to finally kick a goal himself this year earning himself a stack of prizes, including best goalkicker for 2006

I may be biased but I still see Schell as being the best full forward. Unlike Chambers and Passador, he does the hard thing - chasing, tackling, giving the ball off to players in better positions.

I think the defensive side to Passador's game is one of his strengths as a full forward. Schell's agility and speed may make him better at it, but it is definitely not for a lack of trying on Passador's behalf.
For what it's worth, if I had to pick a team to play for me tomorrow I'd have Schell at Full Forward, but Passador and Chambers have had better seasons this year and both would be ahead of Schell for 2006 Team of the Year.

Aerie, I have been to almost all the Eagles games this year and the majority of Central's games. Passador is a more deadly kick than Schelly and equal to him in the marking department, however honestly Passador's defensive work is not quite up to the efforts of Schelly. Daniel chases everywhere, even down to the backlines when needed. I agree that Passador and Chambers have been more deadly fullforwards this year, but for workrate, give me Schelly any day!
Cheers!

chambo is right up there and his defense is 2nd to none...all year the commentators mentioned his 1%ers, holding the ball in the area and chasing hard. Always giving 110%.

Ill go with Chambo :D:D

It's hard, isn't it.

A full forwards job is to primarily kick goals. If you kick the most goals, you've been the most productive.
Then again, if you have a better team - you are of a better chance to kick more goals (possibly).

But, how many more goals would Passador need to kick to BE the best FF ?

Chambers has been great, no doubt. But if he was REALLY great (greater), would Sturt have won more games? Who knows.

I'd say Chambers from what I saw ... That said, we played both Sturt and the Eagles 3 times this year and whereas Chambers played FF the entire time, Passador did not ... I think one of Passadors best qualities is his versatility so he would def be in the team of the year, just not at FF for mine.

I would take Passador over Chambers in my team but like others have said he did play a number of other positions which makes 'teams of the year' very hard. I'll go with Passador.
