i know he left south under 'strange circumstances' (& went to southport in the quafl i believe)
what i want to know is, is it true that both west & sturt are talking to him ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Don't know if this is the case but even though I rate Tuckey's ability at SANFL level, if he's still got the same girlfriend that he had while he was at South, I wouldn't want him at Sturt.

To do with her actions regarding her encouragement for Tuckey to dob South in for salary cap issues, not what she looked like.

Coming from a dogs man I find that a little ironic. I guess we just dipped out as we employed someone who was prepared to bite the hand that feeds

Surely the club must have done something to make him unhappy enough to spill the beans? I mean, unless there was anymosity toward the club what possible reason could you have for exposing them??

I think Tuckey wanted to opt out on the last year of his contract because his missus wanted to move to Qld. He can obviously play and we wanted the contract adhered to, this was his way of getting out.

At the time the rumour was he wanted to move to another SANFL club and South wouldn't clear him.

if you south supporters new the whole story i think you would not blame tuckey and his girlfreind as much as you do. The club didnt come up with what was promised to them, in the end there wanted to leave. Brisbane was the perfered option as she received a great job offer.

Wouldn't surprise me, as the manner in which I'd heard they got rid of Cupido left plenty to be desired.

If he didn't have a dodgey contract. He wouldn't have been able to get out of it at the end of the day.

But he did. Just don't see how that equates to Tuckey being at fault.

I don't think you guys can afford to be too picky just yet....

maybe Sturt could lease Tuckey. HE wont actually play for Sturt but Sturt pay half his wage.

Like they have the Castle Tavern set up.

You can be picky when there are personal/character issues involved with the player.
If you didn't have to be that picky, Matt Cooper would still be at the club.

Yeah, Sturt would never recruit person's ex AFL players from other clubs of questionable character due to past events would they? :?
