Backwell Injury ?

Postby Madrooster » Mon Mar 05, 2007 12:52 pm

Can anyone who attended the bays internal trial confirm or deny if Brett Backwell injured his knee over the weekend ?

My mail is that he is having scans today / tonight and it may not be good news.

No worries. He can simply amputate the leg. At the very least he'll get another gig on Letterman. 8)

More scans today, but not quite as bad as first feared - unlikely to play until round 3 or 4.

CH9 news suggested "bone separation at the knee".

I wouldnt be writing glenelg off yet. They have recruited very well and were not far off the finals last season.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Its OK, Im just helping out my friends at the Bay, last year I predicted them to be bottom and they finished 6th.
If I tip them to just miss out on the finals again they'll probably end up in a Prelim!

That is truly astounding.

Not the severity of the injury, but the fact that SANFL news got reported on channel 9.
