SCOTT WELSH SANFL 2008

Postby mal » Sun Apr 29, 2007 12:41 am

Well heres a rumour I cant confirm but heard from the grapevine
WELSH will finish at Adelaide Crows this year.
Rumour has it he MIGHT play for another SANFL club in 2008
He has a good relationship with a player in an opposing club more or less.

All Crows players want to play with North as they see it a step up, recent egs shown by Andrew McLeod attending North games and Tyson Edwards son barracking for North.
Would probably be a decent replacement for Weatherley but I'd still prefer Hargs.

Dunno mate, I played 50 games and had a career tally of 1 goal and 13 points and did a hamstring when I celebrated my 1 goal at Bice Oval, Christies Beach, I kid you not!
You could probably understand why I was so excited as my career tally up to that stage was 0 goals 12 points!

Welsh will play for Sturt next season
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Wedgie, now that you mentioned Hargs, when will he make his league debut for the Maggies. He would want to make it soon otherwise he wont get near the 12 games I predicted his body would hold out for this year !

Dunno, hopefully next week against South, to kick 5 out of 7 or 8 goals today was a great effort in only his 2nd game back.
As long as he gets back for the North game and kicks 10 goals against North I'll be happy.

I am sure no decision has been made in regards to Welsh's future, critical issues will be how his body holds up and the recovery of Hentchel

Wedgie, I assume the Edward's son supports North because of the D Jarman conncection

Let's wait and see how his season unfolds ... if he kicks 60 goals for the Crows (IF), I doubt we'll be seeing him at any Adelaide suburban ground next year. Unless of course he wants to give up a 6-figure salary and play in the SANFL just for something to do.

What penalty for mentioning the Crows in the SANFL board?
In between signatures .....
