Which recruit is going to have the biggest impact

Postby Ruck Legend » Thu Jan 12, 2006 5:07 pm

Last year Jeremy Clayton won the magery medal in his first year?
Will another recruit take out the price.
Maybe Paul Thomas can win his second medal - he is a new recruit?

O'Keefe will be very good for Sturt imo, but Cupido is my pick.

Paul Thomas gets my vote, barring injury I think he'll be an even better player than when he won the Magarey and would expect him to play on the ball this year.

How can you have a poll without having Clinton Alleway included  . The guy was the Box Hill Capt. and CHF for the Victorian State side last year against SA!!!

He is big and strong and comes very highly rated - and that opinion is shared by others who are not North supporters on a few SANFL forums. He is potentially a gun recruit - rated better than Nick Gill (we know how good he was last year!) so much so that Alleway is going to play CHF ahead of Gill and D. White (if he comes back at any stage from the Ferals).

That was my thought as soon as I read the thread, I'll leave my vote 'till his name is added.

I think that Thomas will have the biggest impact. He dosent really need to fit in at all. He knows the coach, players, oval etc. So i think he'll probably hit the ground running.

I agree, Paul Thomas will star but i voted for Alleway. To be honest, im only rating him on what i have heard but i heard it from good authority.

But i hope O'Keefe can be a gun for Sturt :D

The poll which has Alleway with 9 votes, surprise surprise a North player, indicates quite heavily that this site is over-infested with North supporters...

Where were you when you won 900 flags in 2005?
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

North have successfully recruited, Glenelg haven't, surprise, surprise...

I was there for the U17's flag, U19's flag & reserves flag.

I voted for the Eagle player, but I would have put more of the Eagles recruits. You should have put all the recruits on the poll to be fair to all the players, they have feelings too.

No they don't. And they don't surf the web either, least of all fan sites.
