Thanks Darley .... that was pretty much the opinion / impression I got of Ben when our paths crossed at various games and carnivals. But unfortunately I can't hold the same opinion of Meady .. I think long term South will be better off with Ben than it would have been with Meady (but that is only my opinion which means nuthin !! )

Luke Norman offered, and considering, mentor role to Cahill.

From what i've heard this end WCP maybe not such a bad outcome, was he actually offered the role or was he declined by the club?

Heard on the weekend that Jacks assistant is Michael Taylor and Luke Norman to coach reserves also Clay Sampson to have an assistant role but still play one more year
Trevor Potts moved on to Norwood

Leslie declined or Norman declined, Norman would be a very good fit, having spent years away from the club but also having pulled on the blue and whites.

If the rumour mill on here is correct and Mcgowan has been offer a job at the power, surely with just such short notice Luke Norman would be a monty at Sturts

that was on the news tonight, cahill wanted Sampson as assistant, he wanted to play on, Cahill lured Taylor down South untill Sampson has finished playing and ready to be groomed to take over the senior job when Jack goes.

Gee Taylor has spent a lot of time as an assistant... South will have a wealth of experience in the coaches box.

I have had the privilege of being at Westies at the same time as both Michael Taylor and Luke Norman.

Two class acts and South will be the better if they both join the Panthers.

MacGowan has not been offered a job at Alberton and will not be joining the Power.
Taylor to join Cahill at Noarlunga is correct. Tony Burgess also in the mix.

Luke Norman has accepted Sturt Reserves coach role as well as the assistant League coaching role he already had. Double the $ to attract him to stay.
