If Cubillo is a required player, and I for one hope he would be, why was he offered a lesser contract for 08 than what he received in 07 ?
Surely with physical development and natural improvement he will be a better player this year than last.

Dash61, your mailman might be
1. Biased in the handling of the contract
2. Only telling you 80% of the truth.
3. Considering pulling his own head in from the clouds.

Only bagged by a West supporter, I don't think that really counts. :?

Crikey, I praise Sturt, present the facts and you still have a whinge, lovely entrance to the forum my friend!

Geez ease up mate. Who rang your bell? I read a few people having a go at Sturt for not contacting North and if you are correct , they did. No one mentioned your name . Bloody hell you North blokes are very defensive . Lighten up .Certainly not a whinge just passed a comment .

I think as your fellow North supporters seem to be pointing out through their underlying meaning , its time to have a look in your own backyard first .

Welcome to the site ........thanks........least we are getting some comments. I dont think its how long you have been on the site for that counts really .

Agreed fully, that's the point we're making.
If North supporters were being defensive we'd be backing our club and bagging others, the opposite is true.

OCT wrote: I dont think its how long you have been on the site for that counts really .

Agreed fully. :?

We have a close knit large community here and we're not keen on people that only generalise or have a go at others (who are agreeing with them) on their only posts, its like all communities mate, come in swinging and you'll get swung at back, be polite to others and respect others and they'll do the same in return. You'll find this site is the best place to get any SANFL news and it costs a hell of a lot of money to run, respect it and others, enjoy it and you'll have a ball.
I'll stop welcoming you as you seem to take offence at that. :?

Dont take offence to it but sarcasm is another thing. Fair enough . But to say I hav ecome out swinging is a bit soft. Is this your site Wedgie ? Dasher is right you blokes ( locky and you cos we need to be cpecific and not generalise ) are so upfrot but are chasing shadows. Come on tell us all. You seem to be disappointed with North after making a GF so go for it . Or get on talkback and have a go as paid member you r entitled to!! Have you expressed your concerns with NAFC ? Dont say your not complaining cause you are , youre not happy with a lot of things , so get it out there , cant keep sitting back and waiting boys . You blokes seem passionate about North so stick up for your club . Bye the way I am not having a go at you , just my opinion. I actually like North I enjoy seeing you have success to be honest, I think its great.

Dasher was the one that said Sturt had done the wrong thing and you agree with him?
Crikey, I give up!

And yes, we do have issues and yes we do approach our club about them, as should all members of all clubs.
And don't guess at sarcasm mate, I'll add emoticons if I'm being sarcastic, I genuinely welcome new comers to the site. I was sincere when I welcomed you and hoped you enjoy the site.

Anyway, back on topic please....

As one of the North supporters who is NOT anti-Jars I can vouch that I feel like the minority on the site at times.

Most times the grievances are a bit hard to pin down I am never sure how much its Jars' personality and how much its his coaching performance. One thing is for sure Jars will always polarise people's opinions about him. Another thing for sure is that it all went away for 4 glorious weeks last September starting one cold Friday night ...... the knives were definitely coming out before then

Definately not his personality, I think its great.
Whilst I think he is deficient in some areas of coaching (which I think he's improved of) my main gripe is the way he's treated some of the players and some other behind the scenes stuff which I wont go into on here.
Jars actually took us on a coaching session at Prospect a few years back and we had an absolute ball, Ive always found him very likable and great to talk to.

Have had a few runs ins with ANJ and differences of opinions over the years, like Wedgie I aint going into it on here, all I will say is however, I thought up until last year his coaching was to predicatable and he was frightened to change things around. I thought his coaching came on leaps and bounds last year as did the team performance overall. It was also good to bury the hatchet and let it be said, everyone has their opinions of the man but I can say one thing he wears the red and white on his sleeve and very close to his heart

Nup, I get the impression its Sturt or North. Stuart Totham went to school with Josh's Dad has a big bearing on it as I understand it.
Be interesting to see if Sturt could talk Josh into more than 1 year though, I'd imagine they'd want a multi year deal or nothing. With the NT starting up next year I could see Josh playing out of Darwin next year.

If that was to be the case the Eagles must be a very good chance at getting his services afterall "we are the green club". We love our recycled sanfl players down at oval avenue.
