Officially the Eagles might have offerred more for Callinan but unofficially couldn't find a brown paper bag as big as centrals.

dash61 - Cheep was only one of 5 or 6 non-AFL players to make Geelongs VFL premiership team.

Well that's because the paper bag we gave Ian had 2 x Thomas Seymour Hill trophies inside it !!!

Of course it had to be a big paper bag. Mr Callinan, as with ALL players, are within the salary cap.

Big Phil - I think you should have said "it was big so he could put 2 x premiership cups in it when they came his way." The dogs most probably guaranteed more than two. Loved your cap.

My mail is that McGregor has convinced Rhett Biglands to sign with the Eagles along with Hayden Skipworth. Biglands has apparently said that his knee feels much better this time 'round, after the second reconstruction. Skipworth is back in town at the moment and told my source that he is to sign with WWT after a couple of seasons at Bendigo.

There's another example of the AFL trying to snuff any competition out.

Would that rule apply to Skipworth? And Scoop, it would be great news if that turns out to be, but I use the "wait and see" princple.

G - get a life. As has been explained many times the Eagles did not chase Couch, he was advised to get out of Victoria so the Eagles offerred him a club to play at. No huge costs involved, a good Samaritan effort.

Wouldn't happen to be a player named Eagle would it? If so, a fitting club for his name. :D

Didn't you have a "below the belt" crack a few weeks back about O'Hara's knee injury?

If that is the best response you can come up with then take a look in the mirror and grow up you moron!
