Thinking that the SANFL finals are starting this weekend and that they have a footy liftout in Monday's Advertiser I'd get a good run down and lead up to this weeks finals.
Not a thing, only a couple of small summaries of yesterday's games and details of who's playing next week.
Sporting things I did get to read about however:
1) The captain of the Australian's woman's wood chopping team is the fastest underhanded axewoman at this year's show.
2) Rory Sloane's favourite TV show is How I Met Your Mother.
3) Stuart Wigney played in 3 finals for the Crows while Randall Bone managed 2.
4) Thailand's Pattaya Tadtong made the invidual boccia final on the weekend at the paralympics.
5) Clint Bowyer won the rain-delayed NASCAR race at Richmond.
6) Sydney's soccer club expect to sell some jersey's this year
7) Bernard Tomic is a knobSome Ukranian beat some German in a boxing match
9) Glenelg Golf Course has some good grass (that took 7 paragraphs to convey)
10) A Russian won the 20th leg of a bike race in Spain.
11) Camille Little scored 28 points for the Seattle Storm.
12) A horse called psychic Mick is having a rest
13) A Hlebnikoff from Central won the SAHPA endorsed Nundroo 690kms pigeon event, there were 160 owners and 2906 pigeons involved. Kudos to the Advertiser for not only giving us the winner but the next 24 place getters. I was disappointed as B.Renton and son only managed 14th place, been a big fan of their's for years.
14) Port Power are delivering a 5 year football plan despite not having the money to last one year.
Remind me not to ever ever buy this heap of rubbish again.
The Advertiser have not covered the SANFL in any detail for about 15 years. Shows how often you buy the 'Tiser.

( Might be how long it is before you buy it again )
