Not sure if mentioned, but Kirk has transferred to the Eagles.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Guess that means Ainger may not go to the Eagles then

Gotta say it, sometimes it great to be wrong regarding Cross going to Melbourne. Crossy was saying consistently that if he stayed then it was here. Geez I hope I'm wrong regarding Ainger and Carey.

Hope he does, I don't want the scardy cat and his battler mate Carey. Just hope he does not get a kick in the ankle early in the season!

Would be quite ironic if Kirk and Ainger both ended up at the Eagles.

I think we would be much better if we could keep both. Ainger is a great mark and reliable kick. Carey is an honest battler who gives it his all.

Hey Bunton, seeing as you are clearly an official of our Club how about you do less sniping on here and make more of an attempt to sign these blokes up? Boyd 2010, Parry 2011, Warren 2012 all Premiership players who were given their marching orders by our Club? If Ainger heads to North they are just as big a threat as they looked at the end of this year with a couple of other recruits. The Wiggles need more than Ainger but the fact is that Ainger and Warren would be in the top 5 - 10 key forwards in the comp, Boyd in the top 3 mids and Parry in the top 3 rucks and they've left our Club!

If we can't manage their personalities, we need better 'management'.

Klann, remind me, where did we finish the last year we had boyd and parry (who I agree with you are good players). and where did we finish the last year we had captain Warren (who was a good fello, but I don't think made it to nor woods best players once this year, or souths best in his last couple of years at south).

South was been a basket case in the sampson days and we needed someone strong to come in and set some standards. While it was disappointing we did not won just a couple of those close ones and finish in the finals again, I am willing to back fuller, as for the first time since we have been at Noarlunga, I reckon we have a real chance of ongoing success. If that means making some tough decisions, that coaches before Ron were not strong enough to do, then he has my support. Aingers actions clearly show he does not support this direction, so I say he must go. No idea what fuller thinks, but I'm sure he does not like all this focus on an individual .... Which I am now adding to!

Anyway, I'm done on this issue, it's had too much AirPlay for what it's worth

That's the exact response I'd expect from a deluded official of our Club. We finished last because the rest of our squad was rubbish, not because of anything that Boyd, Warren or Parry did. Add those players to our team this year and we finish 4th, minimum, with the same potential as North had. We'll keep losing good players for as long as officials like you have the attitude you do - I'll back Ron but if we lose Ainger to a Club that progresses significantly in the finals on his back while we finish 6th I'll be shattered.

I'm surprised that a club official would be on a site like this, making derogatory comments about his players.

Most clubs, yes. South? Not a surprise at all. I don't know whether he is an official as claimed or not, but it really does explain a lot about South if true. It's so hard to get genuine top notch midfielders, ruckmen and key forwards that you just can't afford to let them go so easily.

Be assured Bunton is no official status at SAFC! Do like his passion for our club but like many others on this site (eg holden78) does type unqualified dribble at times. 99.9% of South supporters want both Andrew Ainger and Lachie Carey to stay at South, Bunton is the odd man out! Great news about Joel Cross, appologies will be accepted by all those who posted here he was leaving South.........crickets.....

Email from WWTFC saying that Jared Allmond, Matthew Jacquier, Jarrod Harding and Glenn Dawson all going to give it another crack next year.
Great news IMO, surprised about Dawson.
Harding, Dawson, Heinjus adding to our forward line depth with Staple, Grock and Fitzgerald, we should be spending our money on midfielders, not Ainger.

Wasnt there a WAFC official who use to come on here and speculate about selections, tactics, both praise and critise players and the coaches moves.

Would have made for some awkward moments i imagine, that person has now moved on though hey.
