No way should JJ be anywhere BUT Sturt. Bad decision by the SFC on that one i reckon. It will come back to bite us on the arse. Hope I am wrong. The club should of at least let Rick evaluate him.
I wouldn't have mind picking him up as he's the sort of player who will thrive in a finals side IMHO, never going to happen though as we don't throw the same sort of money as Port around to players which isn't a bad thing IMHO.

Yeah I know what ya meant Jimmy, Im only an outsider but it seemed to me that JJ had decided to move on before the decision to appoint Rick had even been made.

That hurts a bit more then if they player had made his mind up that early. Just wished any differences could have been sorted out so he stayed at Unley.
What a waste. He can be anything thay player. Ill stop lamenting now

I haven't seen him at Alberton the last 2 years (since they close those gates near the scoreboard) and have missed his pasties.
As much as I like his pasties I hope he stays away as North are undefeated at Alberton when he doesn't rock up!

Christ, hard question, I just started quoting percentages but I better not.
It depends, there's a group of hardcore North supporters out there who know what's happened and I'd say a large amount of those would be really pissed off.
But if you did the rounds of a normal North game it'd probably be the other way around.
The non hardcore supporters think Jars is the ants pants.
A few of the hardcore supporters do to but not many and it seems to change each season/happening/event.
I try not to vent my personal feelings on this site about what I think but let's just say Jars not rocking up to the North Junior supporters Pie night tonight was another brick in my anti Jars wall and I don't think its any great secret that myself and a few others on here aren't his biggest fan. Still was a great night run by the club, I took a few pics:

If you gave me the choice, I'd still have Hargs at North and Jars would be down at Alberton (not that they'd have him).
BUT premierships are won through profesionalism and not following the heart and its another good reason why I could never be a board member/administrator/coach.

The board & management were suprised at the lack of angst shown by the great unwashed at the Hargraves sacking. Was'nt there myself but from what I heard from the powers that be no one approached either the coaching staff, admin, or the board members over his delisting at the B&F.
Port won't be paying anywhere near the 25k for his transfer as sprouted.

I can assure you the disappointment at the decision was passed onto Hargs by many people that night though.

Yeah I was there, we only had 1 table as opposed to the 3 we normally have and we were the quieter people of the 3 tables normally.
I didn't even think of confronting a board memeber as I didn't think they would have made the decision, especially when one board member told me in August that Hargs could stay at the club as long as he wants to after sticking with us through the hard times despite being offered more money at other clubs.
I also didn't even consider approaching Jars, as you said, it was an inappropriate forum for it and was more of a celebration of Hargs and Graeme Kellet's careers with some very moving speeches. Once I'd decided I was on the booze that night I thought I better stay away from Jars to tell the truth.
Spent a lot of the night outside having a smoke with quite a few others and there was quite a lot of angst displayed out there. I think we were all mainly bouncing our frustrations off each other for fear of starting something ugly inside the building.
