centrals were even MONEY tonight
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Wedgie

Agree with your post, my point, I suppose what I am asking, as a North supporter are you confident you have the players to that dour hard working brand of footy......

Secondly, personally I do not believe Jars wil ever coach to that type of game plan, this is why I continue to have question marks over the NAFC

I thought Hart distanced himself from the Centrals Grandstand side...?

I thought he kept his distance...?

I wanted to see this Great Man close up......

Maybe next time....?
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

We were awful in the first, kept bombing long to Westhoff who was contesting against 3 players all the time.

The second half I thought we dominated and used the ball better.

Had a couple of beers with Dogwatcher, we both bagged Wedgie for not turning up

Groggies looked down on numbers compared to last year, your thoughts Ian?

sd, i think you have summed up NAFC very well here. Do we have the players to do it? Well we won't know until they are asked to. Will Jars ever coach this way? We'll have to wait and see. I think everyone has question marks until North can prove itself in finals footy.

Must agree that the dogs were just bombing it in to there forward line in the first half. To easy for north to come over the top and spoil. Hard looked very good all game and cleaned up a bit. Once centrals worked out there delievery into the forward line game over.

Yeah someone said that Hart, McIntyre, Wintle were out best.

I was previously having a go at Hart's coaching ideas for an SANFL backline not his actual play.

Agreed carey. I thought Hart was more than serviceable and did some quite good things. Never seemed to panic and was smart enough to take his time and wait for the right option. A few of his teammates could take note.

It will take him a while to get usede to the different style of footy in the SANFL but i don't think it will take too long and once he figures it out he will be very very good in the backlines.

Wintle had a very good first half. McIntyre tried hard all night and despite making a couple of mistakes was one of our better players. A couple of times he just rushed things a bit. He will learn a hell of a lot off a guy like Ben Hart though. What i said about how composed Ben Hart was is what McIntyre needs to learn. It will come with time.

Yeah mate, when you came over to us last year they got scared and they didn't want to come back!

Seriously though, probably similar to me, too far, too feral and they like the hubcaps on their cars.

I'd go out there in daytime matches (minus the rest of the family) but I doubt I'd ever go their for a night match again.
