I am suprised North supporters didn't blame the umpires again!! As I previously stated it will be a cracking finals series. Four teams in contention, now becomes five. Well done Glenelg. It will be interesting to see how they go against Sturt and WWT in the next two weeks!!!!

There was nothing to blame tham for, the only complaint's this week could come from bay's supporters, North got an easy ride.

And all time clocks should be in yellow, such as the Elizabeth and Woodville time clocks. The red at Prospect and Thebarton are practically useless on a sunny day.

Oh yeah I know the chance of us getting teh double chance is slim, highly unlikely South will beat you next week (if that happens we're no chance), but hey I can dream....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We only blame the umpires when they cost us a match, we don't blame them when they have nothing to do with the result, I thought they favoured us yesterday.
I and most other North fans on here call it straight down the line, Ive only ever blamed the umpires once in the time this site has been operating, hardly a regular occurance.

Don't you bloody start....
First game i've missed for about 2 years!
It was like being at a wedding, i spent the day igonring everybody around me turning my phone on and off for score updates and then sneaking off to listen to the radio when i could.

Managed to make it back to presso's though, so i now consider myself an autority on the game.

the F word was not mentioned at the pressos (!)

Best Mahoney
2 Mules (the same player a north fan on here said they had never heard of earlier this year)
3rd Ruory

i thought ruwoldt was in the best 3 players & it was definately his best game for the club
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Don't get too confident, could be down to rd 23 yet....

I'm not Tassie you guys are in great form at the present and if WWT lose to South it will make round 23 very interesting.

Thought the comment on RPH about Lonie "not playing AFL next year because you've only got a left foot and not good enough" was a bit harsh - not sure the person who said it has played SANFL or AFL themselves :?

Having said that - how do North fans view Lonie, given he is qualified for finals?

Exactly mate, we take every victory we get as we know we're going to choke or fall apart when it counts, you can't blame us!

Glenelg have now scored 20 goals or more in the last 3 games against North.
Ironically their highest score in those 3 games was a loss when the kicked 22.10 in the last meeting last year!

Few random comments from a great day at the footy for bay fans.

Ruwoldt BOG for mine!
Duldigs improvement is amazing.
Umpiring was attrocious, nuff said.
I cant believe the time clock was actually turned on
I cant believe north supporters writing their team off so quickly. They beat centrals two weeks ago and with a bit of luck could have beaten eagles last week.
Both those sides are still the teams to beat in the finals.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

And last week I said something like i'll get worried when Jarman stops having an all out attack and can defend as well .And wedgie mate you said you had the second best defence in the comp.
On yesterday's score doesn't look like the defence worked that well!!

Perhaps North need a coach in eitther the Laird or Fuller mould.

Quick question...The Glenelg club song wasn't played before or after the game. Is this usual or am I just deaf as well as blind (time clock).
I know down the Bay we play the away song....

When we're playing it away neither should it be, don't agree when we play other clubs "songs" at our home grounds...

We normally do play the other team's song before and after (if they win) but yes it was noticably absent yesterday.
Only thing I can think of is maybe it hasn't been played recently at the Bay and it was tit for tat?

Doesn't worry me either way but it was only the home team's song played for decades and it was only recently that SANFL clubs started doing what AFL clubs do and play both home and away team.
