I thought the Bays got 2 goals from wrongly awarded free kicks. McConnell's as described above was one of them, but the other was big Sellar's goal in the second term. For the life of me I don't remember exactly what the free was paid for now - might have been interference in the marking contest - I just remember thinking that it was a pretty stiff call.

I disagree with your call on the Westhoff tackle though - I thought that was just about perfect.

It was paid for knocking away arms. Agreed it was stiff but that is the (ridiculous) rule.

Have watched this multiple times on the replay and don't agree with it. Lawry puched the ball with one hand and then grabbed it on the way down - should have been a mark. He was playing the ball, was in front. The resulting goal probably stopped any hope that the doggies had of stealing a win so was a crucial error by the umps.

No ones said anything about the stupid 25 - 50?metre penalty given against Paul Thomas that also resulted in a goal. As i see it people have pin pointed 3 or 4 goals the bays got which resulted in goals. What was the end margin?
The bays WERE the better side, but the dogs out scored them after qtr time.

yes you did out score us after quarter time, but it took you until the last quarter to kick two goals in a row, so once and for all, stop going on about the umpires, your team played SH1T!. We have had the worst of the umpires for years, because we were SH1T..... PLAY ON.

Umpiring was a disgrace, the worst i have ever seen it and yes Glenelg got the better of it BUT IT HAD NO IMPACT ON THE RESULT, Glenelg were the far better side and easily deserved the win. Us Dogs have some catching up to do but i think we can with the inclusion of C.Gowans and Callinan plus a few more games under Symes belt and hopefully he will qualify for finals.

And im out for one week in soccer with my ankle, and i have a feeling Callinan will be one more week away.
