Will be interesting to see how they go against Port who only let through 69 points per game so far this year.

It was the only area of the ground where I didn't get to at all and I hoped/assumed there's be a good sprinkle of North fans out there.

North fans outnumbered Bay fans 25-1 in the very occupied outer Wedgie.

North had many fans there today.

Standing in the outer , we heard a big roar from the snouts hill and grandstand when the Bays got a goal, but when north got a goal is was all around the ground.

Dont sell North short as there were plenty more Roosters there.

Borat i thought your midfield was much better than ours, and wasnt there some new bloke "the most courageous in the league" who was supposed to smash the Roosters around???

Yep, your midfield smashed us, but you obviously weren't watching Tommy Logan.

He would have to be the hardest player at the ball in the league, and today was crashing the packs all day.

I saw a bloke wearing checkered shoes and a jumper today, man, how silly did he look.

Dunno who he was barracking for, he was really quiet and to frightened to show any team colours.

You were lucky that the game had to be finished by 2:10pm, regardless of how much time was remaining. Allegedly there was still a couple minutes of play left at this stage today when the siren sounded.

With the new time on rules, quarters are now going longer, and Reserves games are now often reaching that 2:10pm deadline. The SANFL really needs to start the reserves games earlier... 5 mins earlier to 11:30am would make logical sense.

They should have already started games earlier before this season, as it was happening more often than just the Reserves GF. Not sure why the SANFL don't realise this.

Good point ecky - I made said exactly the same point to a few mates today as it was unfolding. North have been the "winners" on a few occasions in recent years of the 2.10 cut off (I think it's in our game plan! ) including I think the GF from last year which finished a "tad" early IMO! A 15 minute earlier start for the ressies wouldn't kill anyone would it?
