Well said bulldog proud. His game plan stinks.

An intelligent comment is pretty unusual around here....

Disgrace to finish 5th with that list.

Easily the best list in the comp, so, yes, they should have done much better. They were definitely the disappointing side of the season. Not sure about sacking Cotton but they sure need to do something about the 'chipping backwards until we turn over the ball' style of football they play. That is the same style of play we used for the first half of the season until we learned we were not good enough to execute it successfully and changed to a more positive, attacking style of football.

Cheers

Only on paper, some players are dining out on previous performances, from times when better players were around. No depth either. There's a bit to work on, but I'm sure the club will.

They certainly do.
Longtime since Norwood bottom of Reserves and U18 comps.
Maybe after retirements etc, maybe here comes the spoon in 2018.

Would be surprised to see things fall away that badly, we've recruited some decent players in recent years (albeit some haven't lived up to expectation) and can't see why that wouldn't continue. As things stand today I'd expect us to play finals again next year, but obviously that could change with any unexpected departures or opposition further strengthening. For the majority of the season we sat level on points with Port and Sturt, beat the league leaders 2 from 2, and finished in the 5 comfortably enough. The manner in which the Dogs took us to the cleaners exposed some concerning issues, but no doubt in my mind this season was an improvement on the previous 2.

Another reason to dislike those in charge at the redlegs. I believe they lodged a report against presbury for a tackle in the last quarter. So presbury misses a game. At the time no free kick and the commentators described it as a great tackle.

I see you're online Fester, what's your honest opinion on the Legs season?
