North haven't lost 2 in a row for a long long time.
Does anyone have a spare room that the Wedgie family can live in?

What do you expect LBT? Of course Sturt are going to have more posters as their success continues...It's like attendances for winning teams vs losing teams. Hey, I sure know how cyclical footy is and that things can turn around quite quickly (ask Southee!)...If you don't want any more Sturt posters I'm sure there's something you can do in this wonderful technological age to block them from joining...

BTW, I have over the last few months pondered why there aren't that many Central posters (given their success). Has the computer age not made it past The Old Spot Hotel yet? :)

answer clarry Most Centrals fans hate safooty.net.

Great win by a superbly Coached team :D :D :D

Good catching up with Wedgie Rob etc.

I was stoked when Luke Crane won Best Player back at presentations 8) 8) A nicer guy yiou wouldn't wish to meet.

If someone had told me we'd be 10-4 after playing 14 games I would have been totally satisfied. We are playing for the Sturt Football Club and every player is committed to helping out his mates at all times.

Go U Baby Blues :) :) :)

Great win for our boys yesterday and for me personally it is the first time i have spoken about playin in the finals this year after yesteradys game.

I think our next big challenge will be against the Eagles in a couple of weeks time and I guess that will see really where we end up on the table for the minor round.

I thought it was a funny first half as we seemed that we were in control for most of the game yet the half time score was pretty close. A great 3rd quarter by our boys broke the game open and then the 4th was pretty much just played on its merits.

Once again I thought Luke crane was fantastic with Feater turnin back the clock once again. Chambo kickin 5 and havin his hand in at least 4 more was great from an unselfish full forward and I though Herrings game was pretty good to @ CHF as he had an AFL Listed player on him as he won quite a few contested marks.

Gill looks above the standard of SANFL and really deserves a chance with my ailing Crows - in the last quarter that mark he took in the goal square was top class and his second efforts all day need to be rewarded.

Well said BB - especially your bit about Gill! That despite some other Sturt supporter on here saying he was average or something similar.

Well done to Sturt - they are proving easily to be the genuine No 1 challenger to Centrals and rightly are siting in second. Crane was BOG by a good way yesterday and is one of the recruits of the year - it's a pity that our recruit of the year Allan wasn't out there to give us a chance in the middle.

Can anyone shed any light on Ladhams' injury concern?

Saw him in a goal kicking competition before the game at AAMI on Saturday. Looked to be moving and kicking pretty well. In fact I recounted to my mates that he didn't miss one shot and it looked ominous for Sunday's game.
There is only one team I love as much as the Double Blues, the Double Blues Reserves.......

The official line is a neck injury (carrying his ego around can't help that!) but the real issue is his groins - he has been struggling since the end of 2006 hence his inability to get his fitness and weight right during the pre-season. He competed with North's permission on Sat. arvo.

Allan is in the same boat with groin issues causing extra strain on his hammies. We missed them both yesterday but more so Allan.

I missed ch 10 news tonight and was wondering if anyone happened to see if Jars told anyone else how to coach their club or did he concede that he should worry about his own side?

Nice 1st post Rotter  - perhaps you would've had more credibilty addressing this when Jarman had the Roosters playing very good footy?

If he hadn't played on Sunday North would have been pumped by another 4-5 goals. I was surprised at ahow sharp he was. Well done to the guy. He might be too old for AFL, but he's still got a lot to offer the Roosters...

Geez, we'd be going back a way then. Thats only when they play lower sides on the ladder anyway.

Good call Clarrie. I've been as critical as anyone of Hart this year but on Sunday he was excellent. He still has plenty to offer if he can stay fit.
