While losing a GF is never good, I didn't hold too many grudges against the Eagles after that day. Was well deserved.

For mine I couldn't see why Schell was n't given a free for holding the ball - Rudolph was tackled with the ball and failed to dispose of it - a clear free as far as I am concerned.

Classic comment D4E! I could just imagine the uproar if Rudolph had been penalised for holding the ball, I wonder how many 25 meter penalties the umpire would have awarded for going over the mark before he realised the poor sod was unconcious?
Oh he was unconcious maybe that's why he didn't dispose of it legally? If Dutchy is going too far in one direction I think you've run as far as you could in the other to bring this on to an even keel.

There is nothing in the rules to say that being unconcious is a reason for hanging onto the ball for so long.

If I wanted to really go over the top I would have suggested that Rudolph be reported for wasting time - but the siren going saved him
