[quote="sjt"]Still struggling to believe yesterday's game.

Highlights included: Goodrem's tackle count. Yves snap on goal (even though he missed). The game. The performance of every player. Hardy beating Grima. Pumpa's game. Milne after having to ruck and play almost the entire game, being put on Salopek on the wing and beating him. Glenelg kicking sideways. Paul Thomas's mid air kick. Havelberg's kicking. James Gowan's goal (yes he was too slow yesterday ;) ), how could Glenelg leave him in the goal square by himself? I'm sure everyone at the ground, other than the Glenelg coaching staff or players could see what was about to happen. Why wouldn't you put someone 30 metres in front of him? It was so obvious when eventually someone went back, the crowd cheered. Chris's game, after being written off every year, these guys (C & J) continue leading the way, inspirational.

Because Glenelg employed the full 18 man press (WTF is up with that?). Mickan obviously thinks it's good enough for nearly every AFL team to do it. I'll be interested to see if he persists with it this week.

Anyho, we only lost because we were coming off the bye ;)
