I have viewed the BACKWELL /THOMPSON collision
Without a shadow of doubt one of the best hip and shoulders Ive ever seen
It was a perfect execution and legitimate
There was no MALice in the bump.

Agreed. As I have said elsewhere, it was the best bump I've seen since Backwell himself was cleaned up fairly by Luke Norman at Richmond in 2005.

there was a sheperd in a night game between north & central last year, i can not recall the players but it was a great hit as well although some on here didn't like it but it was fair & very very hard as with that, this is a part of the game & fair bump, yes it was unfortuneate to see a lad carried off but it was a fair bump & i'd rather see that than blokes getting king hit behind the play
