Geez, I feel so bad for that little Bay supporter (seriously). No kid should ever have to experience that. It shows me that with passion like that from such young supporters, the SANFL won't be fading away in a hurry. Hang in there fella (and I don't doubt you will)... Success is always sweeter after tasting the bitterness of failure - just ask a Sturt or Central supporter!

I have shed a tear at many a game 75 76 prelim against Sturt 77 and one one minor round game against Sturt again.

Rowey just admited that they knew goal kicking was a problem and spent hours working on it

The Bays have been and are a great side, but maybe another quick crumbing goal kicking forward/follower would of been handy .
Reckon they really missed out when Douglas declared himself unavailable, and also the absence of Hinge.
Was a great day in the box for Luke Norman and the Sturt brain trust, going in with an extra midfield running type, and moving Sheedy forward like that.
Covered the loss of Chambers ,by thinking outside the square, instead of throwing in another tall, backed weight of numbers in midfield running power.
Cheers 8)

Certainly Laird seemed to change the game plan at 3/4 time to put more emphasis on pace, and the Bays were found out. Then again, Ruwoldt Willoughby and to a lesser extent Hall played well last week but not yesterday.
Agree that someone with the nouse and experience of a Hinge or Douglas could have made a real difference.

I reckon goal kicking should be apart of everysession and players should be doing extra work to perfect this simple skill its the only part of the game that has gone backwards

Gotta love the footage of Jaensch jumping up and down, waving his arms around in the background.

No bullshit from any Bays fans. All class lads =D>

Got a call from the people at AAMI Stadium to ask for someone from Glenelg to pick up the bus that carried the bandwagon supporters last week. They are blocking the main entrance.

Nah we're waiting for the bus to to be modified for Aged Care Access and then hiring out to the Sturt FC for their bandwagon....

Tartan rugs and free cups of horlicks....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Guys like Fisher and Kirk were excellent in both finals but too many went missing at different times. Thought Chris Hall for one was a major dissapointment. Some of the younger guys seemed to be a bit rattled after the Central loss.

Wouldn't it be great if even half of the bandwagon supporters (and all clubs have them) actually attended more games than just the major round...

My brother's one of them... Haven't seen him all year but he's jumping on for the Grand Final...

Not suggesting that people shouldn't jump on either the Sturt or Central bandwagons though... The more the merrier on Sunday! :D

As i pointed out to bayman my cousin plays for Lockleys so during the year i watch and help out at Lockleys He used to play Saturdays and Sundays now it will only be Saturdays so i will now be able to attend Sunday games.I have always lived by the motto Family first if others choose club first so be it

So on that basis i am a bandwagoner never mind the fact that i saw my first Bay game in 69 used to live 2 min walk from bay oval and watch training twice a week.Missed some games when i worked at the races and as a pesky kid worked there in 73 74 75 .

Before my involvement at Lockleys i went to watch Glenelg and lose week after week so if any thing i have done things in reverse watched the losing years and missed the winning years
