Great work from Mattner to respond to last year's straight sets exit with an exciting, high-scoring game plan; which stood up to everything all year.
Don't look at me in that tone of voice.

Well deserved Sturt, capped off the best season I can remember seeing.

Enjoy the spoils.

Bays will come again, we are the best of the rest.

That figure looked exaggerated, thought lucky to be 28k

I thought 30-32. But inflated greatly because of the SANFL juniors' presentation prior to the game. I'd suggest maybe 15-20 if it was a standalone.

Can say 100% they were getting their deckchairs and knee rugs out at Unley Oval before the tribe arrived.

Fair play to Sturt best team all year and best team today

Profs of my mob for not throwing in the towels and having a crack all day.

Reality was story were first to the footy were able to get the outside release and get the F 50 entries
Deserved premiers

Off to the club to just enjoy the people who make my club great

Bays!!

PS Boo to the SANFL for not giving us any Red Tins after the game!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Would be great if they had have put it in Rundle Mall or outside Adelaide Oval's southern end- somewhere in a prominent position where non-SANFL followers would see it and be reminded that the SANFL is still an important fabric of SA.

Did they move the actual chimney from Port Road? Was it something that was feasible to do?

Well done Double Blues

Third quarter in particular was great to watch - good to see the Bays attacking hard to get back into it, but Sturt just too good.

Have we ever seen a more dominant season - only once conceding more than 80 points.

Whatever the crowd it’s still a damn good effort considering the VFL GF drew less than 9k today and the WAFL GF was under 24k

A few observations, from attending the match as a neutral supporter.

The Pre match Entertainment was simple, enjoyable and entertaining! If only the AFL would take note

The Crowd figure was similar to last years from memory and yes, being there live it's hard to believe it was close to what they say :o
34,000 if true is a fantastic crowd tho.

Agree with an earlier comment i read, I exited the stadium within a few minutes of the match finishing and was also shocked from seeing so many Sturt supporters leaving as well and not staying for the Presentation :o

Sturt far too good and predictably won.
-20.5 offered by the Tab was a Gift $$$$ :D
Feel sorry for those that took Sturt to win 40+ as Sturt started celebrating early allowing Glenelg a few cheap goals in junk time to bring the margin back to 31.
