The Bays deserve it more than Sturt or North.

From a fans point of view yes as they could go close to the flag, always harder from the Elim though.

And so they should be playing in the Elimination final, especially after the very poor results from the first half of the year.
Sturt and North, as has been said, need to wait for Friday night to find out if they have "earned" it. At least our season to date has left us in the balance for the double chance until the final game of the minor round.

No Glenelg fans is going to dispute that, remember no Glenelg supporter is asking if we deserve the double chance.

We are where we are becasue of performances over the whole season but we are looking forward to the challenge of producing the form we have demonstrated over the last 12 weeks in the finals, if we do look out....

Interesting that Bay supporters would have a go at the logic of Sturt supporters when in a five year period the blues bettered the Bays entire history +1. Demographically the arguement falls on its head and we all know it's Port and Centrals supporters who lose on the logic front. Bay supporters will tell you they have been one of the most successful clubs over the last 30 years. Does losing GF's and other finals qualify as success. Even us hard done by North supporters have witnessed 4 premierships in 30 odd years. How many Bay supporters can claim that. Who was there in '34 and still living. I'm with Punky about the Bays.

Sturt already has the double chance. As does North.

It's just that they both start the finals one week early

I'd like to see that sweeping statement backed up with quotes.

I'd suggest that every sane Bays fan is VERY aware of how crap we have been for the last 15 years, and underperfomed for the 5 years before that.

I don't recall any Bays fans even argiung the point when everyone rated us the worst performing team for the last 10 years, on a different thread.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

RH
Maybe I've got too many Bay mates. Growing up in the area and all and TM more like the scars of '73 and '85 also.

Agreed with Rushby, Dave your comments are way out of left field IMHO, most Bays fans are saying they don't deserve the double chance, its me, a North supporter that is saying they do.

Maybe we should just reward Sturt's improvement/renaissance with the Premiership Cup? #-o
