Majority? I was there with a heck of a lot of them today. Yes there were some, but majority?

As for the original topic of this thread.

North have done enough this season to suggest a premiership might be on the way. Yesterday was a learning experience. And it will hurt. They'll be back.

I have to agree with the comments about our shirts. I thought they were over the top with the pick of the cup and the wording so I didn't bother to buy one.

They were selling for $20 bucks durig the week but last night back at Prospect they went for $5.00 bucks. There were plenty of pissed off North fans who paid full tote odds!

I wasn't pissed off, yeah we weren't close enough to winning the whole kit and kaboodle but considering Central were in their 4th GF in a row in the same season we only won 1 game we've come a hell of a long way.
And there's not a lot else that rhymes with seven!

I wouldn't say a majority, but 1-5% can seem a lot. You always seem to notice one-dickhead when there are 9 or ten decent people nearby. We caught a bus back to the city, there were lots of Dogs fans on it, they behaved well. There is no point in this degenerating into who has the most feral supporters, it will achieve nothing. The only thing I have to say is the setting off of flares in the stands is absolute crap, these morons should stay at the soccer where they belong.

I didn't have an issue with one Dogs fan today, they were great.
Funny as buggery back at the club though when we were hanging out the front.
A couple of Centrals lout's thought they'd do a "drive by" not realising the gates were shut near the Croquet Club.
I asked security if it was OK if we could throw things on their come when the morons realised they had to come back past us and he said as long as it wasn't glass we could go hell for leather!
Poor bastards in the Commodores copped food, beer and all sorts on and through their windows. They were a lot quieter on the "return trip"!

Full marks to them though, only Commodores that didn't break down half way through their race!

Gutsy year by North who again had to deal with their fair share of injury throughout the season ... In recent years, imo, North had shown a vulnerability in the midfield and perhaps in resolve that prevented them from taking another step forward, the same could not be said of them this year as they were well and truly behind the 8-ball at times in all finals matches, for 2 courageous wins and 2 admirable losses (Im sure thats a term that won't sit well with success-hungry supporters).

Central were an awesome team this year (again) and were always ahead of all challengers, so from this neutral observer North have still won plenty of respect for their season, including their effort yesterday.

People argue whether it's better to miss out on making a grand final if you don't win it, but I think yesterdays game will hold the Roosters in good stead for next year and beyond, and for supporters, success is always sweeter after the bitterness of defeat, your time is coming soon imo.

On the topic, no doubt we are making headway, if we can recruit well and maintain the momentum we are a chance for next year.

I was sitting next to some dickhead centrals supporters. They had a punch up between eachother!!!! why i ask... does any one know about ben harts future hope he plays was one only players to win his position yesterday. the roosters need stronger bodys round the ball. just look at matty slade he is midget but he has a very strong upper body and could break tackles very easy. we only have Deano who could break tackles and he couldnt break them yesterday.

Good comment Joker - at least someone wants to talk about the footy!

I thought the tackling was the key difference between the two sides, particularly early.

I thought it was a great achievement for North to make the GF.

I'd seen North live twice against the Bays this year, twice in the finals and a few times on tv prior to the GF.
Honestly, it was no surprise they were swept aside yesterday. They have plenty of skill but arent hard enough around the footy.

I was actually hoping the bays would meet them in the 1st semi because our ability to win the hard ball is one of our strengths.

They will be an improved side from the experience.
Bad luck to the North supporters, who really showed how passionate and colourful they are.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

i agree centrals are very good tacklers got a goal from a gowans tackle on jimmy allen imo wasent holding the ball. but when you tackle that well you get rewarded.
