Unless they're kids on the way up, doubt many would be likely to stick around long term. Think Gill will be found out in the next couple of seasons at AFL level. All in all if they could play AFL then they would. Next season we might see a genuine exception if Stuey Dew lines up and gets some decent fitness up.

I think that Alan Obst was prematurely cut. He has all the makings of an AFL footballer & I think that if a club was persistent & patient, as he would be a 2 to 3 year waiting game, then he might just make it. The trouble is these days, everyone wants results immediately.

he has the same 'problem' as mouse, kenna, clayton, allen etc etc these blokes while good enough imho are not given many or any real chance to prove themselves because of their height, although i do think that philosophy is slowly turning with the likes of the davey brothers coming to the forefront

That's true BM. With Rodan it took 2-3 drafts for him to get picked up and then delisted by Richmond after a few seasons, will be interesting how he goes in his second year at Port. Surely he turned heads this year.

Cheers for that !!!

The bench press thing is pretty funny though but some of the little blokes were freaks like that - Brodie Atkinsons bench press record was only just beaten this year @ the crows !!!

It's totally inappropriate to mention what Luke earns per game.

\The SFC are lucky we have the most professional Administration in the SANFL.

Sturt to go all the way in 2008. :D :D :D :D
