I am fairly sure it would have changed a number of times. Which is why the debate about whether Glenelg's colour is "gold" or "yellow" is not relevant - the colour used has probably changed between golder and yellower shades a number of times over the years, hey Pseudo.

During the 87 final, they wore gold, yellow and colours in between. at the same time  Looked like their mums must have made their kits for the day and went to different cloth shops.

That is beacuse we had two ladies on guernsey washing duties in 87, one used "Drive" and the other used "FAB"....

I think it was due to the difference between the old lace up and and "pullover" guernseys. The sash in the lace ups for glenelg have always been more yellow than the Gold in the "sekem" pullover guenrseys...

The sash used to be different in width too.

Not that this is a tit for tad thread but the red in North lace up candy stripe guensey (Antrobus') in the 85&86 GFs appears to be not as bright as the red in the pullover type and the stripes were of different width too.

Mind you the stripes always looked wider on Grenvilles guensey

It appears there are slight differences in the colour hues and dimensions of markings between the lace up and pull-over guenseys becasue they were made by diferent manuafacturers
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Lace-up guernseys always looked different to the pull-overs, I was glad when they were phased out.

I remember some South and West players running around in lace-ups that were so faded they looked like they had been washed 10,445 times
In between signatures .....
