Im Excited! As a life long westies supporter it has been a while since felt that. Collins is bringing a freshness to the club with no preconcieved ideas. He seems determined, positive,he knows what HE wants and is going out and getting it. Love that Sal is back. Well Done. Lets not wait Bloods Supporters til we start winning games til we go and support our team, lets show we are behind Collins and the boys Round 1.

Ahh fond memories of SAL in the 2003 Grand Final misses to abosolute sidders infront of goal in the first 5 minutes of the game. Atleast 5 Central lads run right in his face and let him know about it. He then coughs the ball up another 3 times embarrasingly inside their defensive 50, two of which result in goals to the dogs.

I don't remember the exact stats but i re-watched the tape for the purpose of watching his disposals on the day he had something like, 18 kicks 5 handballs and if remeber correctly 19 of these possesion resulted in direct turnovers. Ahh it was one of the worst individual grand final performances i have seen in a very very very very long time

West have had a lot of talent at the club, just not on the playing field (think dancing girls :D )

Westies are looking alot better for the first time since 2003. No more Doug, a better board, smart people in the club and an excellent enviroment across the board. I watch Andy coach Coburg in the VFL grand final this year and coburg were a top side but Geelong had the depth and talent. Watch out for the Bloods next year.

Big rumour of 2007 was that the Pram Lady was on the OUTs list, just a rumour or a hard one to replace for West?

Centrals won those games smac....wink:
Sorry smac,they want 2 have a go at Salim on a losing side,i can't believe i forgot 2006.
I just remembered those 2 games clearly in 95-96,as i was with a magpie mate of mine.
Centrals went into the game cocky as & fell on there a!! again.
In 2006 when it got tough for the doggies,no-one gave a yelp & the mighty Eagles smashed em.
You wan't 2 have a go at Salim?Have a look in your own back yard whufc.

The pram lady was rookie listed to the Power and as West Adelaide refused to play her on the grand stand wing she has been granted an automatic clearance by the SANFL to Norths :D

Nah, rumour has it that's where she originally came from, we traded her to West for Dean Howard.

Plus she wouldn't pass the IQ test for us North fans, she'd rate too high.

We may have had a few bad performances in our grand history but i can honestly say i have never seen a player look so scared and intimidated as Sal in that grand final.

It was really like watching an under11 trying to play in the under17. Real cringe worthy stuff evertime he touched the ball.

The word is that there are a number of Mildura players also on their way to West Adelaide. The star amongst them will be Adam Ridley, probably in the best ten players in country Victoria this year.
