My club is special simply because it's MY club, as everyone else's club is special to them because it's THEIR club. Oh, and the fact that we are the most succesful club currently competing in the SANFL doesn't hurt either.

Well seeing as you have more flags (29) than the next two combined (Sturt and North) I'd unfortunately have to go along with that.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

How do I figure that? Well since The Port Magpies only entered the comp in 1997 we clearly have the most premierships! (27 actually, not 29 unfortunately!)

Any explanation as to why no player that played with the Magpies in 96 and went on to play with the Magpies in 1997 didn't need a transfer?

Norwood are the 2nd best comfortably though, you can have that title, their record 2 centuries ago was fantastic, definately something to be proud of. South were pretty good in the days of the Wild Wild West too.

On thin ice again Andy, Fester's allegience to Norwood and Geelong has been festering for years ........

When he was talking about games missed I expect he was talking about Norwood whereas I was refering to Geelong. I don't think there's been a bandwagon to jump on at Norwood since wagons were last popular.

My club was the best because we had the best disco. (Yes, the Bay Disco was good, but it was too far away, and not as good as Sam's, where many a young college girl could be plied from the pack).
We also had Brian, and his huge Norwood flag, sprinting across to each 3/4 time address and stopping to give the umps a gobful along the way.
We also had that fantastic enormous fence banner 'Norwood, Pride of the Parade', that ran about halfway around the ground.
I'm starting to get emotional now, and have to stop typing.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.
