Bayman, you aren't suggesting that Perrie looked Mickan in the eye, shook his hand, and said that he has decided to play for Glenelg, and that his Manager will be in touch? And your not also suggesting that the Bays were very surprised to hear that he had signed with Sturt two days later?
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Smearing a persons' character and honesty is not a very brave thing to do.
Question his ability by all means, or lack of judgement in not selecting Glenelg, but rubbishing his character is taking it a step further.

Cant be Sarge ( on the training front ) - he has been training and training really well and no light training during the preseason !!!

He has been awesome @ the club and has been a hard task master on the track and every one ( the players ) are stoked to have him around !!!

If the next Adelaide Crows coach comes and tells me he shook some ones hand and tells me that he was gonna play for them I would say why didnt you get in writing - cause it is all hear say

I hear there's another ex-AFL recruit whom West were surprised to see signed with a rival club, in not dissimilar circumstances.

Just remember its quite a common practise from some clubs to complain that players had agreed to play with and went elsewhere whilst also rubbishing other clubs inappropriately instead of admitting where they stuffed up or lost out.
Don't always believe everything you're told.
Im sure all clubs have done similar at one stage or another but one or two in particular seem to make very common practise of it. Luckily most players see through it signing with the club that promotes themsleves rather than spending time saying why players shouldn't sing with other club but not all.

Can someone just go out to a Sturt training session to put this to rest?

You call it judgement, he knew exactly what he was doing.
If its true he's not showing much character.
