On appearances, I haven't had a detailed look at them recently but Norths, Norwood, Centrals and the Eagles all looked good. North's and Eagles screams out to me their club where Norwood and the Dogs use mainly the colour that is less predominate in their guernsey.
Ports is ok but there's only so much you can do with black and white.
The rest look amateurish and ordinary IMHO.
My favourite in the looks dept would be Norwood's though.
Recently I've only looked at North's (obviously) on a consistent basis so I'll mention that their content is plentiful but I'll have to delve into other clubs sites to ascertain their lengths, for eg Barrie Robran articles, Latest News, Andrew Jarman and player columns, match reports, photos, etc. Teams are up Thursday nights for all grades but last time I looked they hadn't updated the player pics/bios. North's forum on the official site is crap and probably a silly one considering there was already one up and runing.
North exceeds the others with its Live Scoreboard.
This is a huge benefit to people that can't make games or are interstate or overseas.
Norwood has also taken an upper hand with its online merchandise and memberships.
I don't think there's anything innovative (in regard to the SANFL) with the others.
I've only mentioned a couple of things there, as I said, I'll wait till the season gets closer and do a full rating on them all, I think some clubs are starting to realise the importance of a good website.
