As said previously I'd need a few hours to go through them all comprehensively.
I've previously given a rating on footysa but a lot of sites have changed since then.
When I find some time I'll see what I can come up with and put a new post up detailing it.

Any chance Duncs could be the famously grumpy Campbell? He gets very touchy if people don't hail the CDFC website and forum as the best in the world.

What about a few good examples off the top of your head. I must admit I haven't looked at every site - it gets a bit time-consuming having to regsiter etc to see anything - but last time I looked most other SANFL sites were a bit ordinary.

On appearances, I haven't had a detailed look at them recently but Norths, Norwood, Centrals and the Eagles all looked good. North's and Eagles screams out to me their club where Norwood and the Dogs use mainly the colour that is less predominate in their guernsey.
Ports is ok but there's only so much you can do with black and white.
The rest look amateurish and ordinary IMHO.
My favourite in the looks dept would be Norwood's though.

Recently I've only looked at North's (obviously) on a consistent basis so I'll mention that their content is plentiful but I'll have to delve into other clubs sites to ascertain their lengths, for eg Barrie Robran articles, Latest News, Andrew Jarman and player columns, match reports, photos, etc. Teams are up Thursday nights for all grades but last time I looked they hadn't updated the player pics/bios. North's forum on the official site is crap and probably a silly one considering there was already one up and runing.
North exceeds the others with its Live Scoreboard.
This is a huge benefit to people that can't make games or are interstate or overseas.
Norwood has also taken an upper hand with its online merchandise and memberships.
I don't think there's anything innovative (in regard to the SANFL) with the others.

I've only mentioned a couple of things there, as I said, I'll wait till the season gets closer and do a full rating on them all, I think some clubs are starting to realise the importance of a good website.

It's up to date now. A few players missing, but most are there.

I just heard that there was an error in the points tallies. The Roosters have apparently won by 2 points. You beauty. Prizemoney goes from $2500 to $8000. Gotta be happy with that! :D

Well I heard that the doggies won from a good source too - this site - with all of the details of scoring which seem to add up so unless you can put up something more factual I will regard this as another bullshit rumour [-X

You're the one that started the rumour. Don't put it back to Wedgie. Tell us your source or come up with some facts.

I haven't heard anything, I doubt its true and lets face it, there's bugerall difference between first and second anyway, neither club needs the money and both were strong in different areas. Central's definately deserved it though as the Premiership in League should heavily weight in the award.

I beg to differ Wedgie - the Premiership is worth 1 point out of a possible 26 which is an OK weighting with me. The Premier gets plenty of accolades anyway. This award recognises those other things which help ensure that there will be a long term future for the SANFL by recognising and encouraging professsional behaviour. I think that it is no coincident that those clubs which scored lowly have underperformed for some time!

God, what a f... up.

Someone should be held responsible. Whose fault is/was it?

Following the announcement and distribution of the 2005 West End Club of the Year last week, several Clubs questioned the points allocated for the financial section of the criteria.
A review was completed of all Clubs’ turnovers resulting in Norwood, North Adelaide and Woodville-West Torrens being awarded one additional point. The outcome of these additional points has resulted in joint winners now being declared for this award, with Central District and North Adelaide Football Clubs tied as joint winners of the 2005 West End Club of the Year. Port Adelaide Magpies retain third place in this award.

The amended top 3 Clubs in the West End “Club of the Year” for 2005 are as follows:
