Gee some stuff going down there. Sounds like if they dont get rid of him half the team will leave and pretty much drop them in some real doggy-do.

Not sure what that means for Knowles...whether it's HIM or everyone else that is the problem.

Perhaps Centrals won't touch him if he's bringing a stench with him...

With Melbourne delisting Chris Heffernan who was orginally a reluctant departure from Essendon due to the Cap squeeze they were facing at the time, would this be another potential road block for Thomas in remaining at Windy Hill?

Btw, if he were to become available I wouldn't be surprised if the Cows or Power didn't take a crack at him!

And for what it's worth, I agree with Gilly, why they would consider an old bloke who's NEVER been more than a "Handy" footballer at best (Murphy) over a young lad who has ticks in the check-boxes alongside nearly every attribute is beyond me!!

Who knows CP. But im pretty sure that he'll probably get picked up by another club and given a second chance. Thats if essendon dont re-draft him. Even though they still might re-draft Murphy.........hmmmm...

What makes people think Knowles will go to Centrals?. Strong tip he may well return to North as he was close to returning about 18 months ago plus we can now pay him what he wants.

Actually GIB is one of my best mates...

Could be Drebin, but I got word that Knowles has or will be approached by Centrals to play for them. I haven't heard the North connection as yet, other than to say he was close to going there a few years back, as you've mentioned.

Time will tell. He may not come  across at all.

Saw in today's Tiser Adrian Wilson, son of Wilbur, will be heading back to Centrals for 2006 after three years on Essendon's rookie list and playing for Bendigo.

Not to mention the appointment of ex-Premiership Captain Daniel Healy as an Assistant Coach down at CDFC...

Have heard another rumour today from a Glenelg supporter that Backwell is moving to Central.

giffo...(copied and pasted from other thread) news about Mouse is all over the shop at present.

I think Centrals are queuing up for one of Mouse, Culpitt, Stokes, Cooper (though now off the market after signing with the Eagles) and several others...now that they've signed Brett Knowles...

All I can go on, unless otherwise informed, is that I saw Mouse with my own eyes at Bays training last week...hence it appears he's staying at Glenelg...

I got Central's financial statement for 2005 today = a declared profit of $152,691 (up from $125,000 last season).

For Dog's fans there's three nominations for two Board positions following the retirement of President Les Stevens. John Spykers, Rick Vidovich and Simon Luhrs.
