Disregard the final scores shown in today's Advertiser.

North did score 19-18 (132).

Hopefully Bevo and James McLeay will be back soon thus allowing Coad to play up forward.

All is not lost for the Blues. North are about 3 weeks ahead of us and with trials against the Bays and Bloods left we will be cherry ripe for the history making clash at Hamra Homes Oval.

sp, not too worried mate, its only trials, 2002 we lost all of em ;)

its just good to see some youngsters getting amongst it and also that we have a new ruckman too in peterson, which we need...id like to get more info on where he is from etc....

But if you think its a sure thing surely putting money on North wouldn't be a bet, it would be an investment, pretty good investment at 500% if it comes through.

PS Can any others confirm, was that ugly kick Ladhams did from the goal square in the last quarter (that almost killed me while I was talking to someone behind the goals) a drop kick?

I tend to agree with ca.

Given their recruits and players to come in North represent value at their current odds.

I am a betting man lol but I prefer the horses :P

I hope Sturt can regain Thurstans, Eckermann and De Luca for Round 1.

Yep, he did, I guess due to returning from injury?

I assume Bevo is returning from an injury as he sat out last weeks internal trial. He is an important part of our defence , and one player we will need this season.

North thrash Double Blues

Postby sturtpeter » Sun Mar 12, 2006 2:37 pm

Character assassination is bad enough but the surface at Unley was comparable with other suburban grounds last year.

Get your facts up to scratch Marty. Thanks.

But I forgot your mob didn't play there in 2005 nor will they this season

That's right, deemed not playable for a professional club like North, maybe amateurs are OK with it.
