Drebin...just a question. I thought you had decided to give up on footy after an incident at Prospect involving one of your kids. is this correct? If so what brought you back to the fold?

A number of things (including an email from Col D - your Marketing Manager ironically enough). Long story and old news now. I assume you haven't been on any forum for awhile.

Dangerous place Prospect Oval, how many other grounds have seen Premier Mick (go panthers!) Rann assaulted? I wouldnt go there either except its walking distance.

To be quite honest Drebin, I think South have about 1000 supporters, not many more. The club has shifted its base 35 km to Noarlunga and because of poor results has little support locally in the South. We have more support at away games beleive it or not because the diehard supporters from the old Adelaide Oval days often attend.
I say that any club who has endured a shift in home ground to a bleak barren windy hill in the far southern suburbs,on the back of our purile performances over the last 40 yrs would be glad to have any support at all! So it is my personal opinion, obviously not yours, that South currently have the most loyal supporters in the league. Not the most, not the noisiest, not the wealthiest . One thing should not be questioned is their loyalty.Image

Good reply (at last) - I'm not questioning your loyalty - that was never the issue and I can understand where your coming from but ask a Sturt fan who endured year after year of wooden spoons and a winless season one year - is that not loyalty too in extreme cicumstances? In that era they could argue they were the most loyal supporters. I guess at the end of the day we all argue for our own clubs. Onwards and upwards.

Or a Glenelg fan whose team has done better than seventh only once in the last decade?

Spot on pseudo - this topic - most loyal supporters arguement can never be won by any team - are we all not loyal to the SANFL clubs by the fact it gets very passionate on here.

Assuming as you say (on another forum) that you do look a little like your avatar - your first name isn't Marion with a surname of Morrison by any chance?

Nup, But I did have a Racehorse called Sailing Day that won the third at the Darwin Cup meeting many many years ago. Should have taken up the option to lease one call Bachelors Choise some years ago, Ah Regrets.

Like the Duke, broken a few horses and been "broken by a few horses"

Bit more suburbanised now and got a "young filly"
