Come on lads, we're above that here. I expected better. If you have a chip on your shoulder for some reason take it elsewhere, pm the people involved or at the very least post it somewhere appropriate.

Cheers.

Common Wedgie Im just having a bit of fun with all this - please dont take it so seriously!! There's no malice intended!

If you want me to limit my posts to straight, mindless, boring, factual, uncontroversial comments please let me know   .

No one ever criticises posts that contain line after line of meaningless stats that, in my opinion, really contribute nothing to the energy and life of the site – and rightly so since just because they are not my cup of tea doesn’t make them wrong. Someone obviously thinks they are worthwhile. :? :? Similarly just because I poke a bit of fun at some posts and offer an alternative point of view, I equally don’t think I should be criticised for this tact. I never intend to be nasty or personal but sometimes context is difficult to convey in writing.

I know mate, but poking fun at someone because they're posting some scores in a scores thread is ridiculous.
Feel free to find a stupid post Ian has made elsewhere and poke fun at him there!

I wasnt poking fun at the posting of scores - just the subsequent highlighting of NA scores and minor hysteria (for want of a better word) generated by a few supporters.

Yeah well go make fun of those supporters wherever they've been hysterical. Weird though, I thought North supporters had been canned for keeping a lid on it, I suppose there's no pleasing some.

Basically it is because at the minute there is nothing we can can you about because at the minute your club is running beautifully on the field and off it :( :?

For the rest of us when it comes to North we have to put the following words together to have a crack at you lot "straws, clutching & at"

So we have to bag the supporters at the minute not the club.......Face facts Wedgie (and Dreb, punky, Ian, RM, RTW etc) at the moment your club can't lose so you North supporters can't win no matter what you post as we are going to have a crack at it....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Actually this is pretty spot on TM - my stuff is only just the normal footy supporters ribbing - nothing sinister as I said. NA are obviously travelling well - their results speak for themselves.

League:
Eagles' 3rd quarter of 9.4 (58) is a record against Sturt.
Previous best by Eagles was 9.2 (56) against Sturts' 1.2 (8) in Round 18 1992 at Football Park.

Under 19s':
Ports' Under 19s' now have the highest score of the season in any grade - 28.20 (188), including 10.5 (65) in the last quarter.

Thanks to Mighty Eagles for the Eagles 19s' and 17s' scores. I am currently missing the 3rd quarter socres between Sturt and South in the Under 19s' last week and this week I don't have the South/Norwood and Glenelg/West Under 19s' and 17s' quarter scores. If anyone can help out it would be appreciated.

Thanks Spell, I go to the games, that's why I can post the scores from the Eagles underage games within a couple hours of leaving the ground.
