At this stage out of the 3 injuries only Davis is likely. That may change over the course of the week.

What hurts the most is that they are all defenders.
On personnel Sturt should win, but Norwood has some handy players that can step up in defence.

Sturt should bounce back after that last quarter debacle.

REB!

I rank that 2nd Quarter free to Central denying my beloved Blues worse than 1978. :(

Sturtpeter,

Did you actually see the incident or are you just whinging because your mob were having a shot on goal and had the ball taken off you for a clear indiscretion on the Diuble Blue players part ??

I've been told the free kick was justified. SP should be pissed at the player, not the ump.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

That's probably true barto but while I didn't see the incident, I've heard from very good sources that it was a slight slap to the head, while other very similar incidents on behalf of centrals players had been seen by the umps and they had commented "come on boys, dont do that'. E.G. A Gowans grabbing a Sturt player by the throat infront of an ump and nothing being done.
So Big Phil, I don't know what you saw and you haven't stated it, or were you doing one of your running diatribes only verbally at the time of the incident. Maybe you were distracted by your newly found media fame. What I did see, a while after the afore mentioned incident was the Gowans lads getting into a Sturt player when Sturt had given away a free, that wasn't turned over and was due course to be turned over, I was yelling my guts out and so was everyone around me. Thought it was a pretty raw deal coming out of a hard fought game where one team was better than the other for 20 mins of footy.

the last time these two clubs played it was a wet & miserable day & norwood won easily & if the same happens this week norwood will win but if it is a nice sunny day then (sorry jas) sturt will win, so the result will be up to the weather

Sigh........

Its very relevant on sport when discussing the next game to discuss what happened in the last game.

How is an umpiring decision in last week's game have anything to do with this week?
