Todays tiser confirm my posting of 31/10 with Potts being confirmed coach with Michael Aish as his assistant. Gary Cameron I still believe is the other. Great to have Bassett back at Norwood as skills coach too.

he's going to teach in three main areas
- spoiling
- spitting the dummy when frees paid against
- standing the mark

aside from that, bass regularly used the ball well even if his grip was unorthodox

Have a look at his record in teaching and developing youngen's and then look at his record of Grand Finals achieved with that same group.

You probably heard that comment from "dud" players.

I agree...Pottsy is going to be great for Norwood.

Will any of the current league players be involved in the coaching and development of the Under 18's players?

I dont know too much about Potts, but i am glad that Oatey didnt get the job. He had a master plan to play 1 or 2 players behind the play all game. It didnt work originally and he persisted with it and it never worked.

Not sure if that game plan is a good way to develop these kids.

Played under Potts at Morphett Vale, great bloke and able to get blokes to play together. The more professional the comp and players committment the better he would be. Good on him.
